Monday January 20, 2014 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-No one escapes life without difficulties-
2-Our greatest impact on others often comes not from what we say but from what we do-
3-The fruit of the spirit takes time to grow and develop-
4-Anyone who stops learning is old-
5-A tree was not always a tree-

STRANGE THOUGHT-If you can't understand it, it is intuitively obvious-

I'VE LEARNED-If "time healed everything" you wouldn't ever need to see a doctor-

DID YOU KNOW-The world camel population is approximately twenty million-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Who are the Hasidic Jews and what is their faith?
2-When and why were synagogues first started?
3-Why did God address Ezekiel as "son of man"?
4-Why did Jesus use the term "son of man" for himself?
5-What is the saddest book in the Bible?

B IBLE TRIVIA-Who had enemies that bound themselves under a curse because they were so determined to kill him?
Answer for today   Paul   Acts 23:12

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY   James 2:`14-17
14 My brothers and sisters, if people say they have faith, but do nothing, their faith is worth nothing. Can faith like that save them? 15 A brother or sister in Christ might need clothes or food. 16 If you say to that person, “God be with you! I hope you stay warm and get plenty to eat,” but you do not give what that person needs, your words are worth nothing. 17 In the same way, faith by itself—that does nothing—is dead.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Thankful manDaily prayer: Father, when the woman with the issue of blood touched the hem of Your garment she was made whole.  When Daniel came in contact with the heavenly being he was greatly strengthened.  As we experience Your touch we too are strengthened as we receive godly knowledge and spiritual understanding. Help us in tarrying as we await Your answers to our prayers.  Amen.

GREATLY BLESSED, HIGHLY FAVORED, IMPERFECT BUT FORGIVEN CHILD OF GOD!
