Tuesday November 18, 2014 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY-
1-You will never win if you never begin-
2-Take the time to say "I'm sorry", "please forgive me", "thank you",and "it's okay".  If tomorrow never comes, you will have no regrets about today-
3-Your fears reveal where you do not trust God-
4-The difference for those who believe in Jesus is not the absence of the shadow but the presence of the light-
5-If you want change in your life, you must surrender what you are for what you will become-

STRANGE THOUGHT-The more we have the more we waste-

I'VE LEARNED-Until you take your own personal pilgrimage through pain you cannot fully fathom that God is with you-

DID YOU KNOW-The harmonica is the world's most popular instrument-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-When Jesus was with Peter, James and John a voice spoke from a cloud saying "This is my son, whom I love.  With him I am well pleased.  Listen to him".  They all fell to the ground terrified.  How would we handle hearing the voice of God today?
2-What does "transfigured" mean?
3-What happened at the transfiguration of Jesus?
4-Why could the disciples not cast out a demon from the man's son?
5-How old was the son from whom the disciples could not cast out a demon?

BIBLE TRIVIA-What did Elijah call on to destroy the soldiers sent to arrest him?
Answer for today     Fire from heaven   2 kings 1:10-12

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY    Revelations 7:17
17 because the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd. He will lead them to springs of water that give life. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Praying man Father, we enter Your gates with thanksgiving in our heart and Your courts with praise, for You have made this day.  You satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days. Therefore, we will rejoice and be glad in your steadfast love, for You have seen our affliction. You have known the distress within our soul, and You have made a way of escape through Your powerful presence, Your mighty intervention and through the companionship of Your Holy Spirit. We rejoice gratefully for who You are and all that You do on our behalf. Amen.

I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING!
