HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts-

2-Your life is only as good as you perceive it to be-

3-Belief systems mean nothing if you don't have compassion in your heart-

4-We serve God out of our design, not out of duty-

5-Who you hang out with makes a difference in your life, you tend to become like them-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT-A sharp tongue can cut your own throat-

 

I'VE LEARNED-Be yourself, everyone else is taken-

 

DID YOU KNOW-There are more than thirty three thousand radio stations around the world-

 

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW

1-What had caused the son to become demon possessed as a child (if in fact he was a child)?

2-When Jesus cast out a demon from a man's son he told the disciples that it could only be done by prayer and fasting.  When had he done that on behalf of the boy?

3-What did Jesus mean saying "Everything will be salted with fire"?

4-Talking about children Jesus said, "I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my father in heaven." What did he mean by that statement?

5-What did Jesus mean saying "....than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell where their worm does not die...."?

 

BIBLE TRIVIA-Who was Elijah up against when fire from the Lord burned up a sacrifice and the water around the altar?

PRAYER FOR THE DAY

 

Father, You declare through the Psalmist that everything that has breath is to give You the praise, and so we respond by saying, “Praise the Lord!” Though we know in our spirit that You reign supreme and nothing misses Your attention, traveling here below in this sin-filled, troubled world we can easily lose sight of You, our Lord God omnipotent who reigns over the affairs of Your creation. Today we exalt Your name, give You the praise that is due, by rejoicing in who You are and giving You the glory due Your name. Be exalted, O Lord, among the heavens; let Your glory be over all the earth in the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
