Wednesday November 12, 2014 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-"As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also"-
2-Just because my conscience lets me get away with something doesn't make it right-
3-Something's value is measured by how much another person will give for it.  Therefore, your value is out of this world for the creator of the universe gave his only son for you-
4-God considered you valuable enough to have his son die for -
5-God's will for our life is not automatic.  He allows us to choose it-

STRANGE THOUGHT-Men who have pierced ears are better prepared for marriage-

I'VE LEARNED-Discipleship is all about being a servant-

DID YOU KNOW-Charlie Chaplin once won third prize in a Charlie Chaplin look alike contest-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-When the pigs in whom the demons had entered rushed down the hill into the lake and were drowned, did the demons die also?
2-Do demons have an unending Lifespan?
3-Have the same demons been in existence since the beginning of time?
4-Are demons fallen angels as Satan is?
5-Are demons birthed or created, and if so by whom and when and where?

BIBLE TRIVIA-What birds fed Elijah in the wilderness?
Answer for today   Ravens    1 Kings 17:2-7

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY    Psalm 143:10
10 Teach me to do what you want,
    Because you are my God.
Let your good Spirit
    Lead me on level ground.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Praying man Father, we don’t always know where our present steps will take us on life’s journey, but we do know they lead us to heaven as we walk with You. Our steps here may lead to steep mountains or deep valleys.  Crooked paths and rough terrain may be part of the journey, but ultimately we will rest where the steps of Jesus end at heaven’s throne. There we will no longer have questions about our future, for we know that we will spend eternity forever worshiping You as we give You glory, honor, praise, and thanksgiving. Give us peace and joy for our journey here below and heavenward anticipation for our future inheritance.  In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

LIVE SIMPLY! LOVE GENEROUSLY! CARE DEEPLY! SPEAK KINDLY! LEAVE THE REST WITH GOD!!
