Saturday June 20, 2009 thought for the day

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-God's presence is not as intriguing as his absence-
2- Never doubt the presence of God-
3-Those things that hurt instruct-
4-When righteousness rules, justice reigns-
5-There will always be someone who doesn't understand your love for God-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Mansions in the sky cannot be built out of mud thrown at others-
I'VE LEARNED-The most important lessons our children learn is from watching us-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-How can you be continually in prayer?
2-With a forgiving spirit, is the Christian to allow another to severely mistreat or abuse them on a continuing basis?
3-Why did Lot's wife turn back for one last look?
4-What was Jesus' lifestyle for the sabbath?
5-Does God want Christians to give sacrificially, generously or extravagantly?
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY PSALMS 24
1 The earth belongs to the Lord, and everything in it-the world and all its people.
2 He built it on the waters and set it on the rivers.
3 Who may go up on the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy Temple?
4 Only those with clean hands and pure hearts, who have not worshiped idols, who have not made promises in the name of a false god.
5 They will receive a blessing from the Lord; the God who saves them will declare them right.
6 They try to follow God; they look to the God of Jacob for help.
7 Gates, open all the way. Open wide, aged doors so the glorious King will come in.
8 Who is this glorious King? the Lord, strong and mighty. The Lord, the powerful warrior.
9 Gates, open all the way. Open wide, aged doors so the glorious King will come in.
10 Who is this glorious King? The Lord All-Powerful--He is the glorious King.
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
