Thursday June 18, 2009 thought for the day

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Anyone can be honest when there is nothing at stake, but it takes real integrity to be honest when it will cost you something-
2-You cannot do away with the Bible without having a serious erosion of morality-
3-When we think we can fool God, we mistake mercy for ignorance-
4-Anytime God wants you to help someone and you don't do it, you are guilty of a sin of omission-
5-Lying destroys peoples trust in us and labels us as untrustworthy-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Why and how do various parts of the brain work together?
I'VE LEARNED-Discipline should never be given in anger-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Would Mary have lived a sinless life after Jesus' birth?
2-Has the Holy Spirit always been in the world?
3-Was Jesus filled with total wisdom at 12 as he was at 30?
4-As a child, did Jesus always know his destiny was the cross?
5-Did Jesus speak of divorce as a sin or remarriage as a sin?
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY PSALMS 22:26-31
26 Poor people will eat until they are full; those who look to the Lord will praise him. May your hearts live forever!
27 People everywhere will remember and will turn to the Lord. All the families of the nations will worship him
28 because the Lord is King, and He rules the nations.
29 All the powerful people on earth will eat and worship. Everyone will bow down to him, all who will one day die.
30 The people in the future will serve him; they will always be told about the Lord.
31 They will tell that he does what is right. People who are not yet born will hear what God has done.
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
