Tuesday June 2, 2009 thought for the day

FRIENDS

Here are my thoughts for today
1-If you are going to climb a mountain, you have to have the feeling it is worth dying for-
2-Jesus life was characterized not only by what he did and said but also by what we was willing to bear-
3-Though the life of the cross sounds like defeat, in eternal terms it is the only way to victory-
4-That missed opportunity to say "I love you" will be regretted when death comes-
5-Someone's hurting, someone's in need, now is the time to heal and to feed-

Strange thought-What is sleep?

I've learned-Both enthusiasm and pessimism are contagious-

5 things I want to know
1-Are we blind to the workings of God?
2-What do we have to lose before we cry out to God?
3-Is everything that Jesus said important?
4-If you modify the message to make Christianity more attractive do you still have Christianity?
5-Are there teachings of Jesus that Christians avoid?

Scripture for today Psalms 15
1 Lord, who may enter your holy tent? Who may live on your holy mountain?
2 Only those who are innocent and who do what is right. Such people speak the truth from their hearts and do not tell lies about others.
3 They do no wrong to their neighbors and do not gossip.
4 They do not respect hateful people but honor those who honor the Lord. They keep their promises to their neighbors even when it hurts.
5 They do not charge interest on money they lend and do not take money to hurt innocent people. Whoever does all these things will never be destroyed.

I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, forgiveness and thanksgiving-jasper
