Friday November 30, 2012 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Waiting does not mean inactivity-
2-God has work to do and he uses our hands, feet and mouth to do it-
3-Everything created is a solution-
4-There is no one else like you and that is why no one understands you-
5-Where you are matters as much as who you are-

STRANGE THOUGHT-Business conventions are important for they demonstrate how many people a company can operate without-

I'VE LEARNED-Be someone with gratitude and there will be no end to the things for which you will be thankful-

DID YOU KNOW-Rene Descartes came up with the theory of coordinate geometry by looking at a fly walk across a tile ceiling-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Can what comes into your mind and thoughts make you unclean?
2-Did Jesus say that all the religious traditions of the Jews were worthless?
3-How well was Jesus known outside of Galilee and his Jewish homeland?
4-Had God just sent Jesus to the lost sheep of Israel?
5-If the Jews had accepted completely Jesus as the messiah, would his message ever have gone to the gentiles?

BIBLE TRIVIA-What was the name of the military commander who sent Paul from Jerusalem to Caesarea?
Yesterday's answer-Paul   Acts 23:16-22

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY    John 7:28-31
28 Jesus, teaching in the Temple, cried out, “Yes, you know me, and you know where I am from. But I have not come by my own authority. I was sent by the One who is true, whom you don’t know. 29 But I know him, because I am from him, and he sent me.”
30 When Jesus said this, they tried to seize him. But no one was able to touch him, because it was not yet the right time. 31 But many of the people believed in Jesus. They said, “When the Christ comes, will he do more miracles than this man has done?”

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Praying manFather, we are amazed at Your creative process and marvel at the beauty of life. You knit us together in our mother’s womb and provided everything we had need of before our birth and have done so as well all the years we have lived following our birth. You will do so until You call us home and there we will lack for nothing as we receive the inheritance that is waiting for us which can never perish, spoil or fade. Thank You for giving us life and providing for all our needs; physical, material, relational, and spiritual. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

SMILE, LAUGH, FORGIVE, BELIEVE AND LOVE, OVER AND OVER AGAIN!
