Thursday March 14, 2013 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-A good friend will always be there for you, no matter what-
2-We should be glad that God doesn't give us everything we ask for-
3-Money does not buy class-
4-Under everybody's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved-
5-To ignore the facts does not change the facts-

STRANGE THOUGHT-What do you call a male lady bug?

I'VE LEARNED-Do all the good you can, for all the people you can, for as long as you can-

DID YOU KNOW-The U.S. standard railroad gauge (the distance between rails) is 4 feet, 8.5 inches.

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-When does satan get put into the lake of fire?
2-How are Satan, the beast and the false prophet tormented in the lake of fire?
3-Is Judgement day for sinners or for Christians?
4-God destroys GOG and his army with fire from heaven.  What is this?
5-During the thousand years which satan is in the "bottomless pit" will there be sin on the earth?

BIBLE TRIVIA-Who had a vision of the Lord standing by the altar?
Yesterday's answer-Josiah    2  Kings 23:16

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY  John 18:12-18

12 Then the soldiers with their commander and the guards arrested Jesus. They tied him 13 and led him first to Annas, the father-in-law of Caiaphas, the high priest that year. 14 Caiaphas was the one who told the Jews that it would be better if one man died for all the people.
15 Simon Peter and another one of Jesus’ followers went along after Jesus. This follower knew the high priest, so he went with Jesus into the high priest’s courtyard. 16 But Peter waited outside near the door. The follower who knew the high priest came back outside, spoke to the girl at the door, and brought Peter inside. 17 The girl at the door said to Peter, “Aren’t you also one of that man’s followers?”
Peter answered, “No, I am not!”
18 It was cold, so the servants and guards had built a fire and were standing around it, warming themselves. Peter also was standing with them, warming himself.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Praying man Father, though You do not walk visibly among us You do reveal Yourself through the minds, the hearts, and the actions of Your followers. May the light of Jesus shine forth from us so that the unbeliever can sift through the confusing ungodly messages of this world and the counterfeits of this age. May they see through our words and actions “the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” We especially lift up to You our friends and loved ones who have been blinded by the god of this age. We pray that You would dispel their doubts, fears, and unbelief, replacing these faith destroyers with confidence, courage and peace that comes through believing in and knowing You. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

MAY YOU ALWAYS HAVE LOVE TO SHARE, HEALTH TO SPARE AND FRIENDS THAT CARE!
