Tuesday March 19, 2013 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-If you don't forgive others, you will break the bridge over which you yourself will have to pass-
2-Our habits predict our future-
3-Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase-
4-Repetition is the mother of learning-
5-They who anger you control you-

STRANGE THOUGHT-What hurts worse-Saying something and wishing you had not or saying nothing and wishing you had?

I'VE LEARNED-Striving for success without hard work is like trying to harvest where you haven't planted-

DID YOU KNOW-The metal instrument used in shoe stores to measure feet is called the Brannock device-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Why are there various understandings of what and when the millennium is?
2-When does the rapture take place?
3-Is the Tribulation Period still to come or could we be in it?
4-Why isn't the tribulation period time stated specifically in the Bible?
5-Is the Mark of the Beast a literal mark or is it symbolism?

BIBLE TRIVIA-What god's priests danced around the altar while they cut themselves with knives and daggers?
Yesterday's answer-Gideon    Judges 6:25

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY    John 19:1-5
Then Pilate ordered that Jesus be taken away and whipped. The soldiers made a crown from some thorny branches and put it on Jesus’ head and put a purple robe around him. Then they came to him many times and said, “Hail, King of the Jews!” and hit him in the face.
Again Pilate came out and said to them, “Look, I am bringing Jesus out to you. I want you to know that I find nothing against him.” So Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. Pilate said to them, “Here is the man!”

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Praying man Father, Your Word tells us to do everything without complaining and arguing so that we may become blameless and pure in a crooked and depraved generation. Instead of spreading negativity from our words and actions we are to shine like stars in the universe so that the divine light of Christ may be evident in the way we interact with our peers. Would You raise us above the fray of life as we determine to have an attitude of gratefulness and praise to Him who doeth all things well!  Amen.

I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-
