Thursday March 7, 2013 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-If you really think on what God has done in your life, you won't be able to help yourself for a song of praise will burst from your heart-
2-That which separates you from the crowd is always deeper than the surface-
3-If we don't receive God's love for us, we'll have a hard time loving each other-
4-For the Christian, showing love must become our lifestyle-
5-You get better at love by practicing love-

STRANGE THOUGHT-If the shoe doesn't fit, did we put it on the wrong foot?

I'VE LEARNED-Not all suffering is within our power to control-

DID YOU KNOW-Moisture, not air, causes super glue to dry-

5 THINGS I WASNT TO KNOW
1-What is the primary purpose of the Holy Spirit?
2-Is it okay to try and bargain with God?
3-How does Jesus "rejoice in the Holy Spirit"?
4-What did Jesus mean when he said "No one knows who the Son is except the father"?
5-What did Jesus mean when he said "No one knows who the Father is except the Son and those whom the Son chooses to tell"?

BIBLE TRIVIA-What judge built an altar and called it "The Lord is peace"?
Yesterday's answer-Reuben, Gad, and part of Manasseh   Joshua 22:1

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY    John 17:1-5
17 After Jesus said these things, he looked toward heaven and prayed, “Father, the time has come. Give glory to your Son so that the Son can give glory to you. You gave the Son power over all people so that the Son could give eternal life to all those you gave him. And this is eternal life: that people know you, the only true God, and that they know Jesus Christ, the One you sent. Having finished the work you gave me to do, I brought you glory on earth. And now, Father, give me glory with you; give me the glory I had with you before the world was made.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Praying man Father, there is no higher calling in our earthly pilgrimage, than to lead another to faith. The vast majority are looking for answers to life’s challenges and many are learning that it doesn’t come via prosperity, politics, vocational training, educational ranking, or anything else that expires at the end of this life. As You open up the door of faith, help us to communicate the gospel message that brings hope, peace, joy, and forgiveness through the person of Jesus Christ. It is because of Him that we have life everlasting and hope eternal. Amen.

MAY YOU ALWAYS HAVE LOVE TO SHARE, HEALTH TO SPARE AND FRIENDS THAT CARE!
