Friday March 18, 2016 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Take care of yourself for good health is everyone's major source of wealth-
2-A need does not necessarily constitute a calling-
3-May the Lord direct you into a love of himself-
4-You live right when you think right-
5-Knees that are knelt on don't knock-

STRANGE THOUGHT-Age is a matter of the mind.  If you don't mind, it doesn't matter-

I'VE LEARNED-The word "LAMB" is the word most often used (28 times) to describe Jesus in the Book of Revelation-

DID YOU KNOW-The first coins issued by authority of the United States government were minted in 1787.  These pennies
were inscribed with the motto "mind your own business"-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Can satan force people to do evil?
2-Does confession and repentance always come before forgiveness?
3-How can we acquire wisdom?
4-Are children more likely to learn from their parents mistakes or to simply repeat them?
5-Who was Nimrod and what do we know about him?

BIBLE TRIVIA-Who said  "We have an old father. And we have a younger brother, who was born when our father was old. This youngest son’s brother is dead, so he is the only one of his mother’s children left alive, and our father loves him very much."
Answer for today       Judah        Genesis 44:20

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY       Romans 14:17-19
17 In the kingdom of God, eating and drinking are not important. The important things are living right with God, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. 18 Anyone who serves Christ by living this way is pleasing God and will be accepted by other people.19 So let us try to do what makes peace and helps one another.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY

God, I praise and honor you who are my sovereign King.  I submit to you today.  May others be drawn to you when they see that you reign in my heart.

SMILE, LAUGH, FORGIVE, BELIEVE AND LOVE, OVER AND OVER AGAIN-
