Friday September 12, 2014 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-To be infinitely separated from God is hell-
2-At the end of a thousand ages we will still exist--the question is where-
3-The cross is a sign of love, not a sign of death-
4-The love of God is greater than his judgement-
5-There is no religion in heaven, only love-

STRANGE THOUGHT-Don't worry what people think, they don't do it that often-

I'VE LEARNED-Stick with the truth even if it makes you look or feel badly-

DID YOU KNOW-Theodore Roosevelt wrote thirty seven books-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-If God didn't want a king over Israel, why did he already have one picked out?
2-Does God always have a plan B if plan A doesn't work out?
3-If casting lots was done to determine a choice in the old and new testaments, why and when as it discontinued?
4-What was Saul's pivotal turning point from a humble, God fearing leader to one of pride, rebellion, jealousy, etc?
5-How had power and authority so changed Saul?

BIBLE TRIVIA-Who foretold Jesus' birth and ministry to Mary?
Answer for today    The angel Gabriel  Luke 1:26-38

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY    Romans 10:12-13
12  There is no difference between those who are Jews and those who are not. The same Lord is the Lord of all and gives many blessings to all who trust in him, 13 as the Scripture says, “Anyone who calls on the Lord will be saved.”

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Thankful manFather, we don’t pray for a life of ease since we know that virtues listed in Scripture are often refined in our lives through the challenges, the overcomings, the mistakes and the hours we spend in prayer seeking You above all else. May the nature of Christ be much more visible than our human nature so that we are truly a reflection of Your image that is stamped deep in our hearts. We desire to “follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience and meekness” so that we are truly fruitful in our pursuit of holiness. Amen.

SMILE, LAUGH, FORGIVE, BELIEVE AND LOVE, OVER AND OVER AGAIN!
