HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-Judgement is an expression of God's love-

2-The trumpet in the bible is never used as a musical instrument-

3-Discipline doesn't mean to spank, it means to teach-

4-In the way we judge, we will be judged-

5-There is a difference in being religious and having an intimate relationship with Jesus-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT-If there are only two people in a locker room they will have adjacent lockers-

 

I'VE LEARNED-I still have a lot to learn-

 

DID YOU KNOW-A short time before Abraham Lincoln's assassination, he dreamed he was going to die,

and he related his dream to the Senate-

 

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW

1-Did Isaac not recognize his own son's voice?

2-Why could Isaac not have taken back the ill gained blessing he gave to Jacob since it was based on a lie?

3-Wasn't there another way for God's plan to be done without all the sin, rebellion, deceit, jealousy and tragedy

 between Rebekah,  Isaac, Esau and Jacob?

4-Why did Isaac give counsel to Jacob about who to marry but not to Esau?

5-Was Isaac really unhappy about the blessing mix up with his boys?

 

BIBLE TRIVIA-What child, who later ministered with the priest Eli, was ordained before birth to serve God?

PRAYER FOR TODAY  

Father, as we consider the days of old we see Your faithful hand guiding us along life’s pathway, in our own lives and in the generations that precede us. Your deliverance from our sins, Your provision for our every need and Your guidance for our every step keeps us firmly anchored like a tree planted by streams of water. Keep us steadfast and faithful until we cross over to the Promised Land.  In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
