Tuesday September 23, 2014 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life God desires for us-
2-Mercy triumphs over judgement-
3-Faith by itself, not accompanied by deeds, is dead-
4-Where you have envy and selfish ambition you find disorder and every evil practice-
5-Anyone who knows to do good and does not do it, sins-

STRANGE THOUGHT-You are only as sick as your secrets-

I'VE LEARNED-Responsibility comes before rights-

DID YOU KNOW-President Ford was once a male model-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-How do you love God with all your "soul, mind, and strength"?
2-How much should we love ourselves?
3-Can a test of faith be other than a problem, i.e., a test of success?
4-Why does God need to test us if he knows the outcome before hand?
5-Have all people from the beginning of time needed a savior?

BIBLE TRIVIA-What man knew someone who had been caught up to the third heaven?
Answer for today   Paul     2 Corinthians 12:1-7

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY      Proverbs 13:6
Doing what is right protects the honest person,
But doing evil ruins the sinner.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Thankful manGod, You’ve given the greatest treasure available to all people. We don’t have to fit into a particular segment of our population nor are we required to live during a certain time period to receive this unsurpassed gift. The gift of Your grace is available to every generation and exceeds any temporary material blessing that we’ll ever receive. Your grace not only brings reconciliation through Your Son, but it continues to pour into us grace upon grace, much like the waves of the ocean. Thank you that You gave in abundance so that we could be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God through the incarnation of your Son, Jesus Christ. How unlimited and ceaseless is your grace upon grace! We in turn offer you thanks upon thanks for Your overflowing goodness to us. Amen.

I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING!
