Tuesday September 16, 2014 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Sometimes the strongest people are the ones who live beyond faults, cry behind closed doors and fight battles no one knows about-
2-If you admire the rainbow after the rain, why not love again after the pain-
3-The nicest place to be--in someone's thoughts-
4-The safest place to be --in someone's prayers-
5-The best place to be--in God's hands-

STRANGE THOUGHT-I was so tired this morning I entered my password into the microwave-

I'VE LEARNED-When you get to the end of your runway you have two choices-crash at the end or throttle up and soar-

DID YOU KNOW-William Taft had a special, reinforced steel dining chair-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Why didn't Elisha accept Naaman's freely offered gift after his healing?
2-What had caused Naaman 's assistant Gehazi to become so greedy and thereby sin to get what was not his?
3-Naaman's assistant Gehazi received leprosy for stealing from and lying to Naaman.  Why didn't Naaman punish him or dismiss him?
4-Did Uzziah ever repent of his foolish actions?
5-Why do we fold hands to pray?

BIBLE TRIVIA-How was Elijah taken up into heaven?
Answer for today    In a whirlwind  2 Kings 2:11

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY   Romans 15:13
13 I pray that the God who gives hope will fill you with much joy and peace while you trust in him. Then your hope will overflow by the power of the Holy Spirit.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Thankful man Father of all nations, we’re grateful that, as believers, our citizenship is primarily in heaven and we share this glorious citizenship with our brother and sisters all over the world.  We want to always remember You in the midst of our prosperity and seek to keep Your commandments. We pray for a massive worldwide revival where people will humble themselves, seek Your face, pray and turn from their wicked ways so that we will hear from Heaven and You will heal our sin sick land. Until that hour we will remain faithful and unwavering in our commitment to follow Your Word while we eagerly await our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen.

I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING!
