HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-The Christian's promise of heaven rests with God, not with our good deeds-

2-The great flaw in the American economic system is an unrealistic faith in the power of prosperity rather than in the power and goodness of God-

3-To many people, the American dream became America's God-

4-Wealth and abundance have become the measure of America's success-

5-When we imply that the Christian life involves no yoke and no burden, we don' tell the whole truth-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT-Not everything that can be counted counts and not everything that counts can be counted-

 

I'VE LEARNED-Your test can become your testimony-

1-What was Jesus doing before his arrival on earth?

3-Are some people filled with the Holy Spirit before birth?

PRAYER FOR TODAY 

Father, You want us to do more than just survive. You want us to thrive and therefore You provide, from our inmost being, flowing rivers of living water. The world seems to be filled with stagnant or dried up holes of water as we witness the rising surge of immorality, dishonesty, suicide, corruption and crime. But even as we journey through this troubled world rivers of living water can flow through us as we exercise the fruit of the spirit in our daily lives showing to others love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. We want to walk in the wisdom and knowledge of the Holy Spirit and joyfully declare that we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ which gives us surging, endless hope now and forevermore. It is in His name that we pray. Amen.
