Wednesday October 1, 2014 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-To accept grace is to accept the vow to pass it on-
2-As surely as summer brings sun, so people bring pain, sometimes deliberately, sometimes randomly-
3-Jesus doesn't endorse your sins by forgiving you-
4-Don't crawl across the bareness to God with an empty cup, run with an empty bucket-
5-Mercy forgave the thief on the cross, grace escorted him into paradise-

STRANGE THOUGHT-The most dangerous people you will ever meet are the ones who don't know what they don't know-

I'VE LEARNED-The reward of good work is greater work-

DID YOU KNOW-The Queen of England has two birthdays-one real and one official-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Did Job have any inclination that satan could be a part of his suffering?
2-Did Job believe that all his tribulation and suffering were a test from God?
3-Why was Job's wife allowed to live and not taken from Job as were his children?
4-Did Job have any other family alive such as parents or siblings?
5-Do all verses of scripture carry equal value?

BIBLE TRIVIA-What everyday substance was changed into a plague of lice?
Answer for today    dust  Exodus 8:16-17

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY     Psalm 48:14
14 This God is our God forever and ever.
He will guide us from now on.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Praying manFather, we are a blessed people because You choose to be “merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love” toward Your creation. These complimentary characteristics of mercy, grace, long suffering and steadfast love are evident in Your choice to forgive those who repent and believe Your promises in Christ Jesus. If You had merely sent Jesus to teach us about Himself and serve as our example, that would have been far more than we deserve.  But You sent Him to die for our sins. He was rich in love toward us, not after we cleaned up the mess of our lives, but even while we were dead in our trespasses and sins. Such love is supreme, steadfast and unending in supply. Thank You for meeting our greatest need and caring about our smallest one. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

LIVE SIMPLY! LOVE GENEROUSLY! CARE DEEPLY! SPEAK KINDLY! LEAVE THE REST WITH GOD!!
