HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-God's Word-the christian's owner's manual-

2-What you don't control you are not responsible for-

3-The development of our Christian character is God's personal commitment-

4-Wise counsel is never popular, rarely obeyed and seldom remembered-   

5-God focuses on the ultimate not the immediate-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT-Don't fur line the pig pen-

 

I'VE LEARNED-The same God who created life in you can be trusted with the details of your life-

 

DID YOU KNOW-Rice is grown on more than 10 percent of the earth's farmable surface and is the main food for half of the people of the world-

 

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW

1-When the five loaves and two fish were blessed by Jesus to feed the five thousand people, how many of each were provided in order to feed them all?

2-At the feeding of the five thousand from the five loaves and two fish, did they have nothing to drink?

3-Is there anything beyond eternity?

4-When speaking to a crowd, Jesus used stories to teach them God's message.  Scripture also says that when he was alone with his disciples Jesus explained "everything to them".  Why were these things not explained in scripture for us to understand things more fully also?

5-What is the relationship between acting in faith and waiting in prayer?

 

BIBLE TRIVIA-Who said “But, God, can you really live here on the earth? The sky and the highest place in heaven cannot contain you. Surely this house which I have built cannot contain you."

PRAYER FOR THE DAY

Father, help me to stay strong in my faith whatever my circumstances in the midst of life's difficulties.  When times are tough, help me to trust in you and not in my own strength.  Remind me each day to keep my eyes on Jesus.  Amen

 

LIVE SIMPLY! LOVE GENEROUSLY! CARE DEEPLY! SPEAK KINDLY! LEAVE THE REST WITH GOD!
