Monday February 8, 2010 thought for the day

COME ON, PUSH!!
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-My only hope of peace with God is through the salvation of Jesus-
2-Relationships require effort-
3-Loneliness is the price you pay to avoid the risk of being hurt-
4-Anticipation usually outweigh realization-
5-It is not what you have read that counts, but what you have learned-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Styling gel could cause you to have a hair raising experience-
I'VE LEARNED-Friends are the family we choose for ourselves-
DID YOU KNOW-Ronald Reagan once wore a Nazi uniform while acting in a film during his Hollywood days.
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Why did Jesus tell the story of 2 houses built on rock and sand to the Pharisees?
2-Why don't we hear sermons on heaven, hell or judgement today?
3-Would Jesus' ministry have had greater impact if it would have been 10-15 years instead of just 3?
4-Can the church meet all the needs of all its people?
5-How does one "hunger and thirst after righteousness?"
BIBLE TRIVIA-What evil king of Judah was humbled and repentant after being taken to Babylon in chains?
Yesterday's answer-Hazel (1Kings 19:15)
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY PSALM 132:10-18
10 For the sake of your servant David, do not reject your appointed king.
11 The Lord made a promise to David, a sure promise that he will not take back. He promised, "I will make one of your descendants rule as king after you.
12 If your sons keep my agreement and the rules that I teach them, then their sons after them will rule on your throne forever and ever."
13 The Lord has chosen Jerusalem; he wants it for his home.
14 He says, "This is my resting place forever. Here is where I want to stay.
15 I will bless her with plenty; I will fill her poor with food.
16 I will cover her priests with salvation, and those who worship me will really sing for joy.
17 I will make a king come from the family of David. I will provide my appointed one descendants to rule after him.
18 I will cover his enemies with shame, but his crown will shine."
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
