Monday February 1, 2010 thought for the day

ANOTHER WINTRY DAY
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Love brings forth burden bearing-
2-When our faith becomes conventional, our faith becomes convenience-
3-Faith feeds on expectancy-
4-Our love for God motivates us to conform to his will by choice-
5-While we are praying for sinners to come to Jesus, he is asking us to go to sinners-
STRANGE THOUGHT-An escalator can never break, it can only become stairs-
I'VE LEARNED-Read the Psalms for they cover every human emotions-
DID YOU KNOW-President John F. Kennedy's rocking chair was auctioned off for $442,000.
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-What is a "little white lie"?
2-How much perfection should we strive for in being a Christian?
3-Why should we always be striving to be "better Christians"?
4-Is Jesus never satisfied with who we are?
5-When we aren't "better" Christians, are we sinning?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What king of Israel reigned only seven days and killed himself by burning down his palace around him?
Yesterday's answer-Tirzah (1 Kings 14:17)
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY PSALM 126
1 When the Lord brought the prisoners back to Jerusalem, it seemed as if we were dreaming.
2 Then we were filled with laughter, and we sang happy songs. Then the nations said, "The Lord has done great things for them."
3 The Lord has done great things for us, and we are very glad.
4 Lord, return our prisoners again, as you bring streams to the desert.
5 Those who cry as they plant crops will sing at harvest time.
6 Those who cry as they carry out the seeds will return singing and carrying bundles of grain.
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
