Sunday January 31, 2010 thought for the day

LOTS OF SNOW--
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Jesus is already in my tomorrow-
2-The grace of God comes from the love of God-
3-I believe that I may know-
4-Discipleship is willingness to go wherever the spirit of God leads-
5-The righteousness of God has its expression in the law of God-
STRANGE THOUGHT
1-The worst thing about accidents in the kitchen is eating them
I'VE LEARNED-Growing old beats the alternative of dying young-
DID YOU KNOW-President John F. Kennedy could read four newspaper in twenty minutes-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Does the church expect people to be saved in a predetermined and similar way?
2-Is religious activity becoming a substitute for Christian living?
3-Even as Christians, do we often disobey God's Word--have we then sinned?
4-Are some sins more grievous than others?
5-Do all sins have the same consequences?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What city did King Jeroboam use as his capital when the northern tribes split from the southern tribes?
Yesterday's answer-Samuel (1 Samuel 8-10)
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY PSALM 125
1 Those who trust the Lord are like Mount Zion, which sits unmoved forever.
2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, the Lord surrounds his people now and forever.
3 The wicked will not rule over those who do right. If they did, the people who do right might use their power to do evil.
4 Lord, be good to those who are good, whose hearts are honest.
5 But, Lord, when you remove those who do evil, also remove those who stop following you. Let there be peace in Israel.
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
