Thursday January 28, 2010 thought for the day

LOOKS LIKE THIS AT MY HOUSE!
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-People on the way down always blame someone else-
2-Old age is the price you pay for maturity-
3-God, you can open or close doors so help me to test each one to see which one opens-
4-The greatest ability is stickability-
5-There are people who need us and don't even know it-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Don't be afraid of pressure for pressure is what turns a lump of coal into a diamond-
I'VE LEARNED-Always choose life!!!
DID YOU KNOW-Herbert Hoover was the first U.S. President to have a telephone in his office-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-What does it mean to pray without ceasing? How do you do it?
2-Can we worship God through the daily routine of living?
3-Is the fruit of salvation actions or intentions?
4-Can you be a Christian and be proud?
5-If we prophesy, cast out demons, do wonders all in the name of Jesus, isn't that doing the will of God?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What king was confronted by the prophet Nathan because of his adulterous affair?
YESTERDAY'S ANSWER-Jeroboam (1 Kings 11:26-40)
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY- PSALM 122
1 I was happy when they said to me, "Let's go to the Temple of the Lord."
2 Jerusalem, we are standing at your gates.
3 Jerusalem is built as a city with the buildings close together.
4 The tribes go up there, the tribes who belong to the Lord. It is the rule in Israel to praise the Lord at Jerusalem.
5 There the descendants of David set their thrones to judge the people.
6 Pray for the peace in Jerusalem: "May those who love her be safe.
7 May there be peace within her walls and safety within her strong towers."
8 To help my relatives and friends I say, "Let Jerusalem have peace."
9 For the sake of the Temple of the Lord our God, I wish good for her.
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
