Tuesday February 9, 2010 thought for the day

OH NO! NOT AGAIN!!
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-I love you for who I am, not for who you are-
2-Spend your energy becoming, rather than accumulating-
3-Joy grows in the soil of praise-
4-Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow-
5-Experience is the best teacher only if it is your experience-
STRANGE THOUGHT-If a man's wife is his better half, and he marries twice, what then becomes of him?
I'VE LEARNED-Submit to pressure from peers and you move down to their level-
DID YOU KNOW-Ronald Reagan married his first wife, Jane Wyman, at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, California-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Did Jesus teach in parables to confuse his listeners?
2-Why were foreign coins not accepted in the temple in buying animals for the temple sacrifice?
3-Did John the Baptist really eat live locusts or was it the fruit of the carob or locust tree?
4-If the Jews were forbidden to eat pork products, why was it okay for them to raise something forbidden to eat?
5-Isn't it strange that dogs in Israel were considered unclean and yet in Egypt they were esteemed and associated with their gods?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What king was told by the prophet Micaiah that his troops would fall in battle?
Yesterday's answer-Manasseh (2 Chronicles 33:10-13)
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY PSALM 133
1 It is good and pleasant when God's people live together in peace!
2 It is like perfumed oil poured on the priest' head and running down his beard. It ran down Aaron's beard and on to the collar of his robes.
3 It is like the dew of Mount Hermon falling on the hills of Jerusalem. There the Lord gives his blessing of life forever.
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
