Wednesday February 17, 2010 thought for the day

FRIENDS
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-We must be careful not to use God's name as an excuse for our foolishness-
2-A man's life consists of those things to which he is alive-
3-Wellness and wholeness are not synonymous-
4-We often must suffer much pain in order to discover where the power is-
5-If we didn't have problems, we wouldn't know God could solve them-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Does anything travel faster than the speed of light?
I'VE LEARNED-Be loving to those who love you. Be loving to those who do not love you for they may change.
DID YOU KNOW-Louis XIV bathed once a year. He had forty personal wigmakers and almost one thousand wigs.
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Can Christians become pharisees today and not know it?
2-Where was Jesus' mother Mary while Jesus traveled throughout the land?
3-What would Jesus' siblings have called him?
4-How many relatives of Jesus accepted him as the messiah both before the resurrection and after the resurrection?
5-Did Jesus appear to his mother, siblings or family members after the resurrection?
BIBLE TRIVIA-Who is the only king in the Bible referred to as "the Mede"?
Yesterday's answer-Jehoram (2 Kings 8:16-18)
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY PSALM 136:23-26
23 He remembered us when we were in trouble. His love continues forever.
24 He freed us from our enemies. His love continues forever.
25 He gives food to every living creature. His love continues forever.
26 Give thanks to the God of heaven. His love continues forever.
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
