Friday December 18, 2015 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Once fear is removed, peace quickly fills the vacuum-
2-Ministry is a believer's calling, not a name for religious activity-
3-We fall the way we lean-
4-You cannot get ahead while you're getting even-
5-Fear means you are trusting more in yourself than in God-

STRANGE THOUGHT-The longer you wait to do something that you have decided to do, the less probability of you actually doing it-

I'VE LEARNED-Empty threats backfire-

DID YOU KNOW-Ice cream was originally made without sugar and eggs-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Would Jesus have attended synagogue with his disciples?
2-What does the Bible mean saying "For all have sinned and missed the glory of God"?
3-Did Jesus feel limited (time and space) when he lived on earth?
4-Did Jesus ever harm anyone?
5-What is the evidence of being a peace maker?

BIBLE TRIVIA-This new testament passage comes from what old testament book-:A bone of him shall not be broken" ?       John 19:36
Answer for today    Exodus 12:46

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY     Luke 18:26-30
26 When the people heard this, they asked, “Then who can be saved?”
27 Jesus answered, “The things impossible for people are possible for God.”
28 Peter said, “Look, we have left everything and followed you.”
29 Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, all those who have left houses, wives, brothers, parents, or children for the kingdom of God 30 will get much more in this life. And in the age that is coming, they will have life forever

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Praying man Father, I want to be Your hand extended to others in need. Help me not to turn the other way or to expect someone else to be Your messenger of compassion and care.  I want to seek out those who need a kind touch, an attentive ear, or just another person sitting beside them.  May I be sensitive to others in need and may I also be sensitive to Your leading. We also thank you for the blessedness of resting in Your everlasting arms.  Amen.

SMILE, LAUGH, FORGIVE, BELIEVE AND LOVE, OVER AND OVER AGAIN-
