Sunday December 13, 2015 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-The best thing a father can do for his child is to love the child's mother-
2-Forgiveness means to never mention it again-
3-You find in me what you are looking for-
4-My convictions define who I am-
5-Faith is a reaction to a word from God-

STRANGE THOUGHT-Prejudice is a great time saver in forming an opinion without gathering all the facts-

I'VE LEARNED-What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving-

DID YOU KNOW-There are more doughnut shops per capita in Canada than in any other country-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-The power that Jesus promised the disciples through the Holy Spirit seems so seldom evident among us.  Why?
2-Is there a difference in the Holy Spirit abiding with you and his abiding in you?
3-Is there any record, after the disciples became followers of Jesus (excepts for Judas), that they sinned and asked for forgiveness?
4-When Jesus chose his disciples, did he know that Judas was deceptive, that Peter was rash, that Thomas struggled with doubt and that John was a dreamer?
5-Did Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit all have equal power?

BIBLE TRIVIA-This new testament passage comes from what old testament book-"Lord, who hath believed our report and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?"    John 12:38
Answer for today       Isaiah 53:1

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY     Luke 18:6-8
The Lord said, “Listen to what the unfair judge said. God will always give what is right to his people who cry to him night and day, and he will not be slow to answer them. I tell you, God will help his people quickly. But when the Son of Man comes again, will he find those on earth who believe in him?”

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Praying man Father, each of us make our dwelling on Thankful Lane when we daily attribute thanksgiving to You who provides for all our needs. You give us shelter from the harsh elements, food on our tables, clothing for our bodies and people who love and care for us. We’ve been blessed beyond measure, both physically and spiritually as You provided for our greatest need; salvation. Worthy is the Lamb who died on the cross for our sins. We will eternally praise You for Your goodness to us. Amen.

I WISH YOU LOVE IN YOUR HEART-PEACE IN YOUR SOUL- JOY IN YOUR LIFE-ALWAYS-
