Wednesday December 2, 2015 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-If Jesus can forgive sins, he surely can also heal sickness and hurt
2-Perception is not necessarily reality-
3-Take your fun seriously-
4-Jesus responds to our faith-
5-Faith is trusting his direction without knowing our destination-

STRANGE THOUGHT-You can't walk backward into the future-

I'VE LEARNED-Anything worth doing is going to take longer than you think-

DID YOU KNOW-There are more than 100 chemicals in a cup of coffee-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world and yet loses his marriage and family?
2-If a Christian wants the material things of life, how can their focus be on the treasures in heaven?
3-Why does wealth and material things corrupt the soul of those who possess it?
4-Scripture says "If you will be perfect, go and sell all you have and give to the poor and you shall have treasure in heaven."  Does this apply to us today?
5-Is wealth always a chain?  Can't it be a blessing in the hands of a grateful appreciative heart?

BIBLE TRIVIA-This new testament passage is from what old testament book-"And all flesh shall see the salvation of God"?     Luke 3:6
Answer for today    Isaiah 40:5

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY    Luke 17:3-4
“If another follower sins, warn him, and if he is sorry and stops sinning, forgive him. If he sins against you seven times in one day and says that he is sorry each time, forgive him.”

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Praying man Father, when Jesus gave His all as a sacrifice for our sins You made available to us the free gift of salvation that is for all eternity. We cannot pay for our forgiveness nor can we repay Jesus for His sacrifice for our sins. All we give in return is a heart surrendered to His plan for our lives here on earth that will be more fully experienced in the great beyond. May our hearts be set on things above where Christ is seated at Your right hand. Thank You for not giving us the wages we earned and sentencing us to death row, but instead You give us eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.

LIVE SIMPLY! LOVE GENEROUSLY! CARE DEEPLY! SPEAK KINDLY! LEAVE THE REST WITH GOD!
